Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Part-Time Retail Associate. This position primarily involves assisting customers, merchandising displays, and packing and shipping orders. Retail and merchandising experience is preferred, and shipping experience is a significant plus. The successful candidate will be available during daytime hours from 10 am to 5 pm (permanent position, not seasonal).
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, answering inquiries, and offering product recommendations.
Merchandise displays to attractively showcase products and promote sales.
Operate the checkout counter efficiently and accurately, processing transactions and handling cash.
Pack and ship orders with attention to detail and in a timely manner.Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store and storage areas.
Requirements:
Previous experience in retail and/or merchandising preferred.
Availability during daytime hours from 10 am to 5 pm.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain visual standards in merchandising displays.
Basic computer skills.
Shipping experience is highly desirable.
